Spencer Klassen

I am very excited to be a part of the Laker community and culture! I have a passion for a physical lifestyle, coaching, and athletics. I look forward to working with all of my students to find their passions and help them achieve their personal levels of success. 

I was born and raised in Red Deer and received my teaching degree at Red Deer College. I played basketball for 5 years there, I was the assistant coach for 2 years, and am now fully embracing the role of Athletic Director at HJ Cody.

Outside of school and basketball, my wife and I live on a ranch just outside of Markerville. We enjoy raising our purebred black Angus cattle and working with our horses.
