Joel Gerlywich

Hello, my name is Joel Gerlywich and I am excited to be teaching Math 9, 20-1, 20-2, and 20-3 this year at HJ Cody! I'm a born and raised Red Deer-ian who has a passion for math, science, and athletics. I currently live in Red deer with my wife Tristin, and reside very near to much of my close family. I enjoy my free time by playing individual sports, such as disc golf, and playing a lot of tabletop games with whoever is willing to join. I also have an interest in reading, music, movies, and video games among other things. My goal is to encourage students to pursue mathematics to the best of their abilities and approach all facets of their lives with a positive attitude and a work ethic of giving it their all!
