Jamieson Blinkhorn

Hi! My name is Jamieson Blinkhorn. I am very excited to be the new Grade 9/10 Vice Principal in my home town and at the school I graduated from! I grew up in Sylvan Lake and still live here with my beautiful wife, Kayla and our two daughters, Rory and Marlow. I have taught for 14 years (2 at HJ Cody) and I am looking forward to continuing my career, working in my own community!

I will be teaching Math and Sports Performance this year.  I will also be coaching the Lakers Football team. Prior to coming to HJ Cody I taught for 9 years in Ponoka and for 2 years at Lindsay Thurber while coaching the football teams at both schools. 

Passions of mine are sports and the outdoors. I enjoy camping, fishing, and hunting. I played 12 years for the Central Alberta Buccaneers Football team and still play recreational Slo-pitch, golf, and hockey. A cool fact about me is I was on the show Mantracker!
